Interface & cable specifications at LINX
All cabling at LINX for member connections are of single-mode type 9/125.
All member side cable terminations are LC unless otherwise requested.
The maximum distance between member equipment and the LINX patch panel will vary the TX/RX values for each of the types of Interface speed and types. These values might be impacted due to connection quality or equipment capabilities as well.
The connector type depends on the housing site and connector type used in the Datacentres Meet-Me-Rooms. In some LINX sites member cross-connects connect to LINX infrastructure via several terminating points.
