Dear LINX Members,

This message provides a summary of engineering support arrangements and opening hours for the Holiday Season. 

Network Engineering and Provisioning Change Freeze

A network change freeze will be in effect, covering all engineering and provisioning activities, from 17:30 UTC on Friday, 19 December 2025 through to 09:00 UTC on Monday, 5 January 2026.

During this period, support requests requiring network or system changes will be deferred until the end of the change freeze, with the exception of fault-fixing activities.

This freeze also includes cabling work, which will be suspended, in some cases by the co-location facility operators themselves. Therefore, no adds, moves, or changes for member ports will be performed during this period.

LINX Office Hours

Normal working patterns at LINX offices will be suspended from Wednesday, 24 December 2025, and will resume at 09:00 UTC on Monday, 5 January 2026.

During the holiday period, our offices will be closed on the following days:

  • Thursday, 25 December 2025 – Christmas Day

  • Friday, 26 December 2025 – Boxing Day

  • Thursday, 1 January 2026 – New Year’s Day

LINX NoVA Members,

We will be implementing a network change freeze covering provisioning and engineering activities across all NoVA sites from 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, 26 November through to 9:00am EST on Monday, 1 December 2025.

During this period, provisioning and support requests requiring network or system changes at any NoVA site will be deferred until the end of the change freeze, except for fault-fixing activities.

This freeze does not affect any of our other LANs.

We will operate a network freeze, covering provisioning and engineering activities for NoVA sites from 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, 27 November through to 9am EST on Monday, 2 December 2024.

Provisioning and support requests which require network or system changes to any NoVA sites will not be handled until the end of the change freeze, with the exception of fault fixing.
 
This does not affect the London LANs, LINX Manchester, LINX Wales or LINX Scotland.

Normal working patterns at LINX offices will be suspended on Tuesday, 24th  December 2024 and will resume at 09:00 UTC Thursday, 2 January 2025.


During the holiday period, our offices will be closed on the following days:

Wednesday, 1 January 2025 (New Year's Day)

This is a reminder about our operations over the upcoming UK August Bank Holiday weekend.

The LINX offices will be closed from 17:30 UK local time (UTC+1) on Friday, 23rd August, and we will return to work on Tuesday, 27th August.
