Cancel the Service
When cancelling a Closed User Group on Portal you have two workflow options:
Option 1: Cancel the Closed User Group via port services
Option 2: Cancel the Closed User Group via port-based services
This article covers the cancellation of the entire CUG from the POV of the CUG owner for the cancellation of the CUG member port unit please refer to the appropriate articles.
On LINX Portal navigate to Services.
Option 1 (Cancel the CUG via port services)
Within Port services, locate the port access that hosts the CUG service you wish to cancel.
This can only be a single port access as port access bundles do not support any service other than peering.
Click on the + symbol on the left to expand the service and see which logical services sit on top of the port.
Ensure you are selecting the correct port and CUG by reviewing each of the information listed
On the three-dot button icon, click cancel service.
Optionally add the contact emails of the members you are sharing the CUG with. Those contacts would be used to notify the other members of the CUG deletion. If left empty the notification would be sent to those member's guardian contacts.
If the CUG unit is the last logical service on the port access, a yellow warning box will allow you to cancel the port access should you wish to do so. If the port hosts multiple logical services they will need to be cancelled or moved before being able to cancel the port access.
Enter your reason for cancellation (optional), and click submit order.
